About us
Sefton Veterans Football club was founded in 2011.
The majority of our original members are former long standing players and members of Waterloo Grammar School Old Boys Football Club, who decided that in order to continue with the ethos of "competitive friendly football for Over 35's" there was a need to establish this progressive and forward looking football club.
The club has grown into a strong and stable multi-cup winning operation, attracting the best players from around Merseyside - providing they fit with the clubs high standards, on and off the pitch.
In 2019 SVFC added a +50 team also, now +45, playing highly competitive games across Merseyside, Wirral and Cheshire.
In 2023/24 season we have welcomed the association with an open age team, playing under the name Sefton OA FC - we hope to have a long and fruitful relationship.
Home games played at Sandy Lane, Lydiate; Open Age at Halewood Leisure Centre, Halewood.
🏆 Friendship Cup Winners: 18/19, 19/20, 20/21, 21/22, 23/24
